Help I Need advice from an experienced PAINTER or WOOD STAINER....!!!?

I have repainted a wicker rocking chair with spray paint. It seems that in some areas even after a few days it is sticky and hasn't dried completly. I tried placing it out in the sunlight today and that only helped slightly. Is this normal? What can i do to get the paint to dry? It's for a birthday gift and I am running out of time Help!

Are you using an enamel paint suitable for wicker furniture. It should say on the can if it is suitable for it. if not then that is your problem. Hope that helps. =DHelp I Need advice from an experienced PAINTER or WOOD STAINER....!!!?
There's got to be something under the paint that has caused this. If it is sticky, you should be able to wipe the paint off those spots. Wipe down those spots with a quick drying cleaner (Lacquer Thinner, Acetone, or try your nail polish remover)(which is basically Enamel Reducer).

Then touch up the spots with more paint.

Spray a mist-coat first, let that dry, then get it a little heavier coat.

Sound like a nice gift.
Put this item in an area that can get maximum air movement around it, like outside but not necessarily in the sun, or in the garage with a fan blowing on it.
