I need help and advice on the product bio-oil?

First of all i know bio-oil works. But my problem is i use to use it and i started to get allot of spots and i don't usual get spots so i was quite pissed. I want to start using the product again but it oily and makes me get spots. Does anyone get spots from using this product, or maybe i thought it was the bio-oil but at that stage i was meant to be producing spots?.I need help and advice on the product bio-oil?
My friends mum was using bio-oil on a scar she has from an operation. When she went back to her consultant they told her that she would be as well using vaseline on the scar - its the same thing!


I realise I'm not answering your question, but if you think about what vaseline is it would block your pores and cause spots if you were using it on your body...!I need help and advice on the product bio-oil?
Vaseline isn't the same as Bio Oil. Bio Oil contains calandula, vitamin E and other essential oils where as Vaseline does not, and is good for dry skin but not scars.


I got spots from it too, but yes it did improve the scar situation.


My advice would be to control your spots and then try it out for a few days, and see if it makes a difference for you.
