When you figure it out tell meI'm young and I want to start a business or just make money can anyone help me with some real advice?
Think of all your interests %26amp; ask yourself if any of those could be expanded into a business. Just keep in mind...what's your expertise? What are your interests? What could you imagine yourself doing?
By researching the prospect of starting your own business -- what it entails, what you need to know, helpful hints, etc -- you'll feel better prepared to take that plunge.
I found some book titles that are relevant to your specific question:
* Generation, Inc: The 100 Best Businesses for Young Entrepreneurs by Elina Furman, Leah Furman
* The Young Entrepreneur's Guide to Starting and Running a Business (Completely Revised and Updated) by Steve Mariotti
* The Young Entrepreneur's Edge: Using Your Ambition, Independence, and Youth to Launch a Successful Business (Princeton Review Series) by Jennifer Kushell
* Upstart Start-Ups!: How 34 Young Entrepreneurs Overcame Youth, Inexperience, and Lack of Money to Create Thriving Businesses by Ron Lieber
I also posted some article links in the source box.
Hope that helps! I wish you much success %26amp; happiness in all your ventures!
Some really simple questions will give you a really good start:
(1) What do you like to do?
(2) What are you good at doing?
(3) What can you afford to do?
(4) Who do you know that can help you do it?
This is really the order that you need to work from. Before you can enlist help, either for work or finances or both, you will need to be able to sell them on desire, ability, and means. Without those you are just dreaming. With those you've got a plan, and that is a good start.
One of the easiest things to do is find a product or service to sell--as if selling were really easy. You might approach a local (not a chain) bookstore and ask if you could peddle a current line of books and promote their store. This assumes that there are not laws against it, say door-to-door, or maybe make a street kiosk which may require you to purchase a permit from the city for a public area where you could set up a couple of cases of consigned books (or whatever, flowers even). Hawk the books and pass out fliers for the book store. You've got to be persistent. You've got to make a clear, concise pitch, essentially a 30-45 second ad you personally deliver to all who would listen. You've got to be ready for more rejection than than a pimpled geek asking the cheerleading squad for a date. You've also got to be ready for someone to say, ';Yeah, can you change a $20?'; (Careful, only make change to buyers). Then too, you could sell something else, maybe you make wooden toys, or like to draw, etc. Good luck.

Hi.
When starting an online business there are many things to consider. Do you have a product you would like to sell or are you planning on selling an existing product as an affiliate marketer? Do you have a budget or will you be raising capital later? You will nedd to spend money in order to make money. Are you someone who would like to spend a lot of time at home or do you prefer the commute. Some people really do, I know it sounds nuts but they do. These are all things you will need to ask and answer as you begin. Plenty of people are making money online, working at home, running an online business. So you probably can as well. But be careful!! There are lots of scams out there! Dont pay for anything untill you have read the free ebook Dotcomology !!

Hey there! Running your own online business can be an extremely lucrative venture as well as one that requires very low start up costs. I run my own business from home, and make a little over $500 a week, and I just started a month and a half ago. I am hoping to double that amount by the end of June.

Have you considered Ebay? I make several hundred extra every month by buying and selling items on there. Find a subject that interests you, research how much items normally sell for (use Completed Searches), and then keep an eye out for a bargain (weak listing, bad photos, finishes at off-peak times, etc). Then sell on at a profit. Takes some time and effort, but you'll soon get a feel for what sells well in your chosen area. Mine is women's bags, my boyfriend buys and sells computer gear.
Best of luck
