Im 9 weeks and 5 days pregnant and very excited. But before this pregnancy i had a miscarriage at about 4 weeks but the problem is everyone is getting to excited mostly my mam and my partners mam. Im happy there so excited its just i dont want them to build there hopes up to much incase something goes wrong again. My midwife said everything seems to be going fine and having my first scan in 3 weeks. But my partners mam is already buying baby clothes but what is something goes wrong and everyone gets lets down again.Pregnant and need advice can someone help please?

Do they know about the first miscarriage? If so then they should be prepared for the chance that that may happen again. If they want to be excited let them be. Dont worry about a miscarriage happening again too much because otherwise you may actually end up causing yourself to have one. Good luck with everything!
i am a firm believer in whatever will be, will be. i think that if anything bad happens you will be just as upset no matter if she buys things already or not. i don't think it will jinx you in anyway. just stay positive and know many women have healthy, successful pregnancies after miscarriages.
