Can anyone help need some buisness advice?

Can anyone tell me when starting up a buisness what things will i need to consider? Whats the best way of advertising?etc etc etc. P.s i live in Northern Ireland if that helps any.Can anyone help need some buisness advice?
There's a thousand things to think about starting a business, but I'll stick to advertising, since that's what you asked about.





If you're going to be working on-site, then you are going to be local, so advertising has to be local too.





Local papers are a good source. But before you spend money on advertising think about PR (public relations). Could you do something that would get you into the papers free? How about getting a white coat, stethescope and setting up a 'bring your sick computer' clinic somewhere for a day, get a photo taken and send it with a write-up to the local papers. Or invite their photographer.





Secondly, its all about market. Do you know who would buy from you? How about targeting niches, like people who work from home in your area. Could you get a bunch of leaflets printed and spend a few weeks of evenings putting them through doors? How about local shops.





If you come up with a strong memorable brand (don't fall in to the trap of trying to be too professional - nobody will be fooled into thinking your a 200 person company, and nobody remembers boring companies anyway). You're big challenge, I think, is to make people remember you 6 months after hearing about you when their PC crashes. To do that you need seriously sticky identity - nobody is going to remember where they put your card at the bottom of a drawer.





It is hard, but the bolder you can be in promoting yourself, and the stronger your brand, the more people will think ';hey, where's the number of that PC surgeon?';Can anyone help need some buisness advice?
There are a list of things that needs to go through mate! The first thing will be to determine what are you going to sell? You have a product or service, well, where are you going to get it from and how much is it going to cost you.





What is your market? The 'old boys' down the pub or the young ones getting of school? You understand this? Once you know who you are going to sell what to then you have to worry about the how.

its depend what kind business yu talking it is a resturent or what any business to start yu need to build a finincial stcrucher then if its a small local custumers business then advertise in a local news pepar dosent matter wher yu live do a grand oppning give some kind promo or advertise local radio stetation
when starting your business you need to consider what it is your selling. what do the people that will be your customers want, what is in high demand? i live in america so i dont know what kind of entertainment you have over there. the best thing you could do is find out what appeals to others interests and go with that. it may take a while to get it right but you will get feed back from your customers and make a few friends in the process. thats only a few things for now.
